MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE PODCASTS TO LISTEN TO WHILE RUNNING

I started listening to podcasts about a year ago. I was struggling with my runs post Seawheeze, and a good friend told me to try listening to a podcast, as that’ll help take my mind off the struggle train I was on. And O-M-G, she was blooming right!

Now I tend to do a third of my runs listening to a podcast, a third listening to music, and the remaining third I go without earbuds so I can listen to my breathing and foot fall.

I dip in and out of a lot of podcasts, but the 5 below are definitely my favourites. The presenters are motivational, inspirational and I get so much out of each run; I now see those podcast runs as personal development AND physical development – double whammy!

Happy Place by Fearne Cotton. Fearne is a beautiful interviewer and I absolutely love the guests she has on her podcast. My favourite interview was with Chessie King on 11th February 2019; she spoke about body confidence and the challenges and pressures social media brings to looking perfect. She was so inspiring that I follow Chessie on my business and personal Instagram page just so I don’t miss her daily dose of body positivity!

The Joyous Health Podcast by Joyous Health.  Joy and Walker are an absolute delight to listen to. I only discovered these 2 on Instagram a couple of months ago, but I love this husband and wife team. They are hilarious, down to earth, and passionate about health and wellness.

The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher.  I think this was the first podcast that I absolutely loved. Jenna has a wide range of podcast topics, but all are centred around living your best life and building your business. A lot of the topics are beneficial if you have a business or want to start one, but she has a beautiful and genuine voice, so even if I didn’t have a business I’d defo still listen to her.

Rise Podcast by Rachel Hollis.  If you don’t know of Rachel Hollis, then you need to get to know Rachel immediately! Her books ‘Girl, Wash Your Face’ and ‘Girl, Stop Apologizing’ are now like my bibles! I’ve read both a couple of times and every time I take something new from them. She is a firecracker of motivation and inspiration – I blooming love her podcasts, she keeps it real.

Today is the Day by Meghan Telpner and Josh Gitalis.  Meghan and Josh are new to the world of podcasts, but I know of them both from taking Meghan’s Culinary Nutrition Expert program. These two are hilarious, informative, and passionate about health.

So these are my top go-to podcasts; I’d love to know what podcasts you enjoy!
