Now I don’t want to be all boasty and blowing my own trumpet here, but holy smokes these are damn good. I’ve not had a bounty chocolate bar in years, but these coconut chocolate bites are way better – in my opinion! And as with all the treats I make, they are vegan, gluten free, and ridiculously simple to make. Read More
If you follow me on social media, you may already know that on Sunday 13th October 2019 I was a pacer for the 8k Turkey Trot race in Victoria, British Columbia.
Being a pacer is something I have wanted to do for a couple of years now, but never thought I would be able to; it was purely down to a lack of confidence in myself, I just didn’t feel like a good enough runner to be a pacer. What rubbish! If you are able to run a pace consistently that allows you to easily talk throughout the race if necessary, then you can be a race pacer! Read More
We all know we need water to survive, and it’s recommended everyone drinks 2 litres/8 glasses of water a day.

Rather than putting it all in the bin – I hate being wasteful and throwing money away – I slowly used all those items up. So whether that was having a biscuit once a week as a treat, or having that processed meat in the freezer for dinner with lots of fresh vegetables on the side; it took me months to get rid of everything, but I felt better using it all up and not wasting food. WOW – just wow! These treats take a maximum of 10 minutes to make (not including the time for the chocolate to set in the fridge) and are vegan and gluten free. They are crunchy, salty, sweet and absolutely scrumptious! I’m going to sound terribly British here, but they go perfectly with an afternoon cup of tea!
