Having a running coach isn’t just for elite, Olympic level athletes. Sure they all have coaches, but anyone can have a running coach; whether you are working towards a personal best (PB), getting back into running after an injury or long break, you are completely new to running, or you have hit a plateau in your pace and need support.
COACHES ARE WONDERFUL, EVEN IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF.
NOT ONLY DO I CREATE A TRAINING PROGRAM SPECIFIC TO YOUR NEEDS AND PLAN AROUND YOUR LIFE/WORK SCHEDULE, BUT I AM HERE TO KEEP YOU ACCOUNTABLE, TO SUPPORT YOU, TO BELIEVE IN YOUR GOALS, TO GIVE YOU TRAINING ADVICE, AND HELP YOU TRAIN SMARTER.
NOW DON’T GET ME WRONG, I AM NOT 100% YOUR CHEERLEADER; I WILL PUSH YOU WHEN YOU NEED TO BE PUSHED!
DREAMS ONLY WORK IF YOU DO!
Finding the right coach for you is kinda like dating. You may kiss a lot of frogs before you find the right one. That’s why it’s especially important to do your research and have a consultation before you sign-up (FYI at GMacSpurr Coaching the one-hour running consultation is free). A consultation is a great way for you to share your fitness goals as well as get to know the coach – to see if they are the right fit for you. Having a connection with your coach is important. You need to be able to trust your coach 100%, feel comfortable telling them your biggest training dreams (and fears), and know that they are there for you.
At GMacSpurr Coaching you have the option of race distance specific training plans or a personalised plan that is created specifically for your, or 1-on-1 online coaching which gives you that ongoing support, adjustment of workouts when life gets in the way of training (which it does sometimes), and regular communication. Coaching is done virtually, so you can be anywhere in the world and still be coached by GMacSpurr Coaching.
If you would like to set up a free one-hour running consultation, then BRILLIANT! Schedule your consultation here.
