THE PERFECT AUTUMNAL SOUP THAT REQUIRES ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS – GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN

I don’t know about you, but for me autumn/fall equals soup. So recently I’ve been on a soupfest making so many that my freezer is now jam-packed full.

RACE RECAP AND BEING A RACE PACER AT THE GOODLIFE VICTORIA MARATHON (8K TURKEY TROT – 55 MINUTE PACER)

If you follow me on social media, you may already know that on Sunday 13th October 2019 I was a pacer for the 8k Turkey Trot race in Victoria, British Columbia.

Being a pacer is something I have wanted to do for a couple of years now, but never thought I would be able to; it was purely down to a lack of confidence in myself, I just didn’t feel like a good enough runner to be a pacer. But what do you do? Do you give into temptation and not run, or do you force yourself out the door?

Ask yourself these questions:

BAD RUNS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE

We’ve all been there, a run that is a struggle from start to finish. Our legs feel like lead. Every step feels like it could be the last before tumbling to the ground in a heap. These are the runs where we prove to ourselves that we are strong and capable.

Boy oh boy, this morning’s run was one of these tough runs, and in fact my husband was feeling the same way, so at least we were both on the struggle train together.

HOW TO FIND THE PERFECT RUNNING COACH FOR YOU

Having a running coach isn’t just for elite, Olympic level athletes.  Sure they all have coaches, but anyone can have a running coach; whether you are trying to hit a personal best, getting back into running after an injury or long break, you are completely new to running, or you have hit a plateau in your times and need help pushing through.
