After writing your 2022 goals and identifying your ‘why’, let’s add a layer of accountability. Nobody else will achieve YOUR goals except you, so you need to identify what or who will keep you accountable.
Take some time now to identify what and/or who will keep you accountable to achieve your 2022 goals. Everyone is different, so what keeps one person accountable may not work for the next person. Here are some examples:
- Money spent on a race registration, equipment, a membership, or anything else related to your goal
- Sharing your goals with friends and family
- Writing out the steps to achieving your goals so you know what to work on each day
- Finding an accountability buddy that is also working towards a similar goal
- Hiring a coach
